Terms & Conditions

  1. The Promoter

    1. The promoter (“Promoter”) is: The Luxe Life Group Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 11425247, whose registered office is at Office 322a – Building 3 North London Business Park, Oakleigh Road South, London, N11 1GN. (Luxe Luck).
    2. The Promoter operates the website at www.luxeluck.com (the “Website”).
  2. The competition

    1. These terms and conditions apply to all competitions listed on the Website.
    2. All competitions are skill based competitions and an entry fee is payable. Transaction fees and exchange rate fees may also be payable. These may vary depending on where you are based.
    3. To be in with a chance of winning, everyone who enters the competition (an “Entrant”) will be required to correctly answer a series of questions or solve a problem set by the Promoter (the “Competition Question”).
    4. If more than one Entrant correctly answers the Competition Question, the winner will be chosen at random from all Entrants who have correctly answered the Competition Question on or before the Closing Date.
  3. How to enter

    1. Each competition will run from the opening time and date specified on the website (the “Opening Date”) to the closing time and date specified on the website (the “Closing Date”). Times and dates are inclusive.
    2. All competition entries must be received by the Promoter by the Closing Date. All competition entries received after the Closing Date are automatically disqualified.
    3. The Promoter may change the Opening Date and/or Closing Date of a competition if, in its reasonable opinion, it considers it necessary to do so. For example, the Closing Date may be brought forward if the competition reaches the maximum number of entries earlier than expected.
    4. To enter a competition you must, before the Closing Date:
      1. log into your account, which you will have to open the first time you enter a competition; then
      2. complete the online form which shall include the answer to the skill based question; then
      3. specify the number of tickets your wish to purchase and the prize(s) you would like to be in with a chance of winning; then
      4. pay the entry fee via credit or debit card.
    5. The Promoter will not accept:
      1. responsibility for competition entries that are lost or delayed, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind; or
      2. proof of transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the competition.
    6. By submitting a competition entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.
    7. The Promoter will send confirmation that your entry has been received and confirm whether or not your answer to the Competition Question is correct.
    8. For help with entries, please contact the Promoter via email at contact@luxeluck.com.
    9. All Entrants who successfully complete the Competition Question will be placed into a draw and the winner will be chosen by random draw supervised by an independent person. The random draw will take place within 5 days of the Closing Date (“Draw Date”).
    10. If, for any reason, your credit or debit card is not accepted or your payment fails or is not processed, your competition entry will automatically be rejected. You should receive notification of this on the payment page of the Website but this cannot be guaranteed. Only correct entries that have been confirmed as accepted by the Promoter will be eligible to win a prize.
  4. Eligibility

    1. The competition is only open to all residents in the UK, except Northern Ireland, aged 18 years or over, except:
      1. employees of the Promoter;
      2. employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter who are professionally connected with the competition or its administration; or
      3. members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above.
    2. In entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win. The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the competition. If you are unable to or do not provide such proof on request you will automatically be disqualified from the competition and no refund of any entry fees paid will be given.
    3. The Promoter will not accept competition entries that are:
      1. automatically generated by computer;
      2. completed by third parties or in bulk; or
      3. incomplete.
    4. No refunds of the entry fee will be given in any event, including;
      1. if, following your entry into the competition, you or we subsequently find out that you are not eligible to enter the competition or claim a prize;
      2. if, following your entry into the competition the eligibility criteria for entering the competition or claiming a prize changes and you are no longer eligible; or
      3. if you are disqualified from the competition by the Promoter for any reason.
    5. The maximum number of entries per competition will be specified on the Website. Entrants can enter the competition as many times as they wish until the maximum number of entries have been received. On occasions, the maximum number of entries may be exceeded. For example, if 2995 tickets have already been purchased and you wish to purchase 10 tickets, your entry will be accepted and 3005 tickets will have been sold. If this happens, the Promoter will split the competition so that two or more prizes are available and your chance of winning will never exceed the level specified on the Website. The Promoter will also ensure that when a competition is split, the Entrants in each draw have an equal chance of winning (relative to the number of tickets they have purchased). To achieve this, if an odd number of tickets have been purchased (as in the example above), the Promoter will, at no extra cost to the Entrants, double the number of tickets that each Entrant has purchased. So, if you purchased one ticket you will automatically receive two tickets. If you purchased five tickets you will automatically receive ten tickets etc. This will ensure that the total number of entries received is an even number. In this example, 6010 entries will have been received which means that the draw can be split into two equal halves of 3005 each. Then both draws will have exactly the same chance of winning.
  5. The prize and claiming the prize

    1. The prize for each competition is as described on the Website.
    2. The Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner within 7 days of the Draw Date using the telephone number or email address provided with the competition entry. If the winner cannot be contacted or is not available within 14 of days of the Draw Date they will forfeit their prize. The Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible Entrant selected from the correct entries that were received on or before the Closing Date.
    3. Due to the nature of the prizes, the Promoter will require (if appropriate) the winner’s size, colour preferences and a delivery address. Not all sizes and colours may be available so the Promoter will use all reasonable endeavours to supply a prize that matches as close as possible, the winner’s preference. Where the prize is an experience, for example a holiday, dates are subject to availability. You may not get a choice as to the dates of the holiday, departure times and places etc. Experience prizes may be subject to additional terms and conditions which will be specified on the Website.
    4. Please allow 28 days for delivery of the prize.
    5. The prize may not be claimed by a third party on your behalf.
    6. The Promoter does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to accept the prize.
    7. Prizes are subject to availability. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize of equal or greater value.
    8. The prize is not negotiable or transferable.
    9. The winner of the competition will be announced on the Website within 28 days of the Closing Date (Announcement Date).
    10. The decision of the Promoter is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
    11. The Promoter will send the name and county of the winner to anyone who writes within one month after the Closing Date of the competition requesting details of the winner and who encloses a self-addressed envelope to the address set out in condition 1.
  6. Limitation of liability

    Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

  7. Data protection and publicity

    1. If you are the winner of the competition, you agree that the Promoter may use your name, image and town or county of residence to announce the winner of this competition and for any other reasonable and related promotional purposes. Further details of how your personal data may be used are contained in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, a copy of which is available on the Website.
    2. You further agree to participate in any reasonable publicity required by the Promoter.
    3. Please note that under data protection laws you are entitled to request that the Promoter does not contact you and removes your details from its database. If you make such a request you will be withdrawing from the competition as it will not be possible to contact you in the event that you are the winner. You will not be entitled to any refund of any entry fee if you withdraw from the competition.
  8. General

    1. The Promoter reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions from time to time.
    2. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the competition and/or any future competitions.
    3. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize competition where it becomes necessary to do so.
